SLAUGHTER & THE DOGS - White Heat [CD]

Proto-punk legends Slaughter and the Dogs return with 'White Heat', a blistering new album released September 4th. Featuring twelve new tracks penned by founding guitarist Mick Rossi, this release ignites a fresh chapter for the band, honouring their raw punk roots while injecting a potent, modern intensity. The album title, 'White Heat', aptly captures the peak intensity and creative fervor poured into every song, reflecting the band's relentless pursuit of excellence. Founding members Mick Rossi and Howard Bates, alongside core member Phil Rowland, have aggressively pushed their sound forward, expanding their punk pedigree without losing their essential sonic DNA. Recorded at the renowned Winslow Ct. Studios in Los Angeles, the album boasts guest appearances from notable musicians including Billy Duffy (The Cult) and Morgan Fisher (Mott The Hoople, Queen). The production, a collaboration between Mick Rossi and twice Grammy-nominated Craig Parker Adams, delivers a powerful and polished sound. 'White Heat' is presented as an anthem for the present, a call for truth, and a genuinely honest record from a band that continues to define punk rock.
