Airbourne - Airbourne [Vinyl]

Australian rockers Airbourne deliver their self-titled sixth studio album, a record that distills everything the band stands for: bombastic, beer-soaked, dangerous, sexy rock’n’roll. According to Ryan, this is the best album they could possibly make, capturing the passion, fire, and sweat-soaked danger of a band at the peak of their powers.

Key Features & Sound

• The album reunites the band with powerhouse production team Brian Howes (producer of Black Dog Barking) and engineer Mike Fraser (who worked on Breakin’ Outta Hell and No Guts. No Glory.).
• Recorded at Music Farm Studio near Byron Bay, utilizing the original Neve console from Alberts Studios, where bands like AC/DC recorded early landmark albums.
• Mixing by Zakk Cervini (known for work with BMTH, Architects) ensures drums sound like canons and guitars cut like buzzsaws.
• Features tracks paying tribute to fallen idols, including “Alive After Death” and “Send Me To Rock’N’Roll Heaven,” which references Lemmy, Doc Neeson, John Bonham, Bon Scott, and Little Richard.
• Includes songs of defiance like “Last Man Standing,” “Hell’s Got No Vacancy,” and “Gutsy.”
• For fans of AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, Judas Priest, Guns N Roses, Motorhead, and Motley Crue.
