Lex Legion - Lex Legion [CD]

Lex Legion delivers a powerful, future-facing throwback to world-class hard rock and metal on their eponymous debut album. This brand-new band is comprised of old friends boasting an incredible heavy metal pedigree, featuring members associated with King Diamond, Motorhead, Scorpions, and Don Dokken.

The lineup is formidable, comprising four-fifths of the classic late 80s King Diamond configuration—Mikkey Dee (Drums), Pete Blakk (Guitars), Andy La Rocque (Guitars), and Hal Patino (Bass)—infused with the commanding vocals of Nils K. Rue (Pagan's Mind). The collective resume also includes work with Death.

This single-minded release is distinguished by tasteful, less-is-more arrangements that highlight virtuoso musicianship, relentless melody, and harmony, appealing directly to fans of traditional and modern heavy metal.
