Record Journey Vol. 2

Dive into the quiet magic of vinyl, memory, and everyday lives with Record Journey Vol. 2 by Ryoichiro Kezuka. This volume continues the tender, introspective storytelling that connects journeys through music, presented in English for the first time.

About the Book:

Record Journey Vol. 2 expands the narrative beyond the intimate record shop in Tokyo, exploring the unexpected power of music to shape lives across the globe. Stories unfold featuring a famous band finding refuge in a small store, a clandestine pirate radio signal reaching someone under oppression, and the voices behind that radio embarking on new journeys. Each tale, while standing alone, harmonizes to create a layered exploration of how music travels, transforms, and unites people.

Artistic Style:

Originally crafted during Kezuka’s independent period, these stories showcase his signature blend of detailed artwork, subtle emotion, and a deep appreciation for musical culture. Fans of slice-of-life manga, understated drama, and beautifully drawn storytelling will find this volume compelling.
