Harald Grosskopf - Glitches Brew [audioCD]

Harald Grosskopf, a legendary figure in German music history spanning six decades, delivers Glitches Brew, a vital new album continuing his dialogue with electronic possibility on Bureau B. This release reflects Grosskopf's sense of humour with a nod to Miles Davis while exploring the productive friction between man and machine. Created over three to four months in his garden studio, this record captures a vivid, present-tense sound where human instinct and electronic process converse audibly.

Grosskopf's career includes work with Krautrock propulsion (Wallenstein), cosmic explorations (Ashra), and defining contributions alongside Klaus Schulze. His 1980 solo debut, Synthesist, previously reissued by Bureau B, established a sequencer-driven language bridging kosmische tradition and modern electronic form. Glitches Brew favors speed and responsiveness, with Grosskopf working primarily with digital instruments for fast access from feeling to recording.
