Gilla Band - Pugnello [Vinyl]

Pugnello is an album by Dublin quartet Gilla Band, released on vinyl. It’s for listeners interested in the band’s exploratory approach to rock music.

Over more than ten years, vocalist Dara Kiely, guitarist Alan Duggan Borges, bassist Daniel Fox and drummer Adam Faulkner have developed a distinctive sound that draws on post-punk and noise-rock without fitting neatly into either category. Their earlier albums include Holding Hands With Jamie, The Talkies and Most Normal.

After pursuing other artistic projects, the four members reconvened to shape Pugnello. Their work outside the band informed the exploratory route towards the album.
